Since its foundation in 1948, CHITOSE Inc.’s main business has been the sale of petroleum products. And, we have diversified into a variety of fields including technology. CHITOSE has succeeded in developing a wide network in Japan and in expanding to overseas markets in Asia and America.

Looking back on the present company’s history of more than 60 years, and back to our origins in the oil business 400 years ago, we realize how very important it is to specialize in a certain field. We strongly believe that our adherence to oil as our main business field has enabled us to participate in various business opportunities and has helped us expand to overseas markets.
